It was the magnificence of the North Antrim coast around the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland that first inspired me to start painting. It continues to be a major muse, with its vigorous rugged coastline studded with jewel-like sandy beaches, its sweeping glens, and especially the interplay of land sea and sky and the ever-changing light.
